Resale rights, master resale rights, private label rights; Whats the difference?

With all the different types of licenses that come with downloadable, digital, resale products it can be a little confusing. Here I will explain the differences:

Resale Rights: RR is the license that allows you to resell a product such as a ebook, software, scripts, graphics, or videos. You are not allowed to change the product in any way, and you cannot sell the rights to resell that product.

Master Resale Rights: A MRR license is a step up from a RR license. With MRR you can not only resell that product but you can pass on the rights to your customers to also resell it.

Private Label Rights: PLR is the best kind of resale license you can get; With this license you can do anything you want with the product. You can rewrite it, use it for content on your site, and even put your name on it as the author, or creator. There are no restrictions with PLR, so if you get the chance try to get this kind of license.

One thing you might notice with resale rights, and master resale rights, is that the licensing agreement varies with each product. This is why you must carefully read the license before you begin to distribute the product. Some of the different restrictions that you might see put in place are that you cannot sell the product for less than the price indicated, or that that it can’t be sold on a auction website such as ebay. These restrictions are put in place to preserve the value of the product. Without them the ebook can quickly become worthless, as people start selling them for a penny.

I have researched the pros and cons of the different membership scripts that are availible and give LFM my highest rating of 5 out of 5 stars.

I have actually used several different membership scripts to build membership websites with;  I purchased amember because I partner of mine was used to using it and wasn’t willing to try any other membership scripts. 

Amember is one of the better known and probably the most used software for building membership sites but it comes with one huge drawback: It is only licensed for use on one domain. 

For me the restriction of installing a script on one domain is unreasonable, and I actually regret purchasing Amember for this reason.

With Launch Formula Marketing you can install the membership software on a unlimited amount of domains and websites.  Now thats more like it.  This gives me the freedom of creating a new membership site for whatever niche I want, whenever I want.  I love it!

That isn’t the only reason I prefer LFM, as far as I am concerned it is a far better script.  You are also allowed to modify it anyway that suits your needs.  Being able to change the script is a huge benefit that other membership scripts do not offer.   One more thing I would like to mention;  If you are looking for membership website software that is easy to modify then consider the fact that LFM does not have alot of excess code, and it is a easy script to modify compared to any other.

Unlimited installations and the rights to modify the script are two great reasons to choose launch formula marketing, but they are far from the only ones.  I have never bothered to modify the script in any way.  It works fantastic just the way it is.  The interface is simple to use, and adding new pages, or products to your membership site is easy. 

Most membership website software comes with a built in affiliate program, and Launch formula marketing is no exception. 

You can also create different membership levels.  For example you could have a free members area, and then different levels of paid members.  It is all very simple to set-up.  I had no experience when I started out using the LFM script and I found it a breeze to use.

Obviously I like the script but what about the support for this product?  I am being totally honest here, I was absolutely blown away by the support team at launch formula marketing.   I received service from them that is extremely rare to find on the internet.  In fact when I first purchased LFM I couldnt figure out how to login to the site and download the software.  This is a pretty simple procedure, but for some reason I was stumped.  I sent them a email and to my suprise received a personal phone call from the president of the company Robert Puddy himself.  Now was the first time the president of any company had called me for anything, let alone such a trivial matter such as the one I was experiencing.  Robert Puddy kindly told me over the phone exactly what to do.  Now not only do I give the product five out of five stars, I also give the service and support that they offer 5 out of 5 stars as well.  If you have any questions regarding the software you can ask on the forum and receive answers quickly from the support staff.

Launch Formula Marketing is easy to install, and even I was able to do it, but if you have any difficulty just ask on the forum, or send in a support ticket, if you still cannot figure it out they will install it for you for a very low fee.

If you want your own membership site I encourage you to look into all the different types of scripts that are availible, and choose one that is best for you.   You can find free software, and some that sell for thousands of dollars.   I found Launch formula marketing to be reasonable priced, a pleasure to use, and with support that was above par.
