Don’t Judge A Book By Its Cover

I was ready a post by Tony where a product was being sold with two different covers.   “Web design for internet business owners” has a plain cover.  Its attractive twin “Design Secrets For Netpreneurs” is exactly the same product only packaged differently and selling for more money.

As much as I hate to see someone pay too much for a product, I do admire those internet marketer who put their private label rights to optimum use.  With that said I do consider this one of the downsides of downloadable products with private label rights.  How do customers know what they are really getting

In a brick and mortar bookstore you can pick the product up off the shelf, flip through it, and browse some chapters before you buy it.   You know that the book your buying wont be selling next store with a different cover and price tag.

As honest internet marketers I think that when we take a product with plr we are morally obligated to improve on that products contents before we add a fresh cover and sell it as a new ebook.

Traffic Hybrid

Traffic Hybrid

In “Traffic Hybrid” the author takes a free traffic method, improves on it, and shows you how to duplicate the process.  This ebook is clear, concise, a joy to read, and jam packed with resources so you can get traffic and start making money online.

Traffic Hybrid gets to the point, highlighting the good and the bad of SEO and Pay Per Click advertising.  Then it reveals the hybrid system that combines ppc and seo that will send targeted  traffic to your website fast, without breaking your budget.

Traffic Hybrid sells  for $47 .  Is it worth it?   The value of this ebook depends on how valuable  your time is to you.  Traffic Hybrid  will not only save you money, but time as well.    Your copy of this product is include in your upgraded membership at the Information Ninja Private Label Rights Membership site along with hundreds of other ebooks, videos, audios, graphic packages, and software.

I give Traffic Hybrid 2 and a half stars out of 5.

The 17 Email Marketing Tweaks

The 17 Method

“The 17 simple but deadly effective email marketing tweaks”   starts off promising alot, and then fails to deliver.  None of the methods were original and it was a dull read.  The best part of this ebook is the cover;  Nice isn’t it?  The rest of it well… you can find out for yourself.  This is free download inside of the Information Ninja Resale Rights Site.  Resale License, Sales Page, and Cover Graphic are all included.

What Is RSS And What Can It Be Used For ?

What is a rss feed ?

RSS STANDS FOR REALLY SIMPLE SYNDICATION

You have probably noticed the above icon on websites, and on peoples blogs.  RSS is a feed, a URL; Simply put, a website address that provides a list of updated content to a website.  You can add a RSS feed to your favorites menu on your computer, or subscribe to a RSS Feed by clicking on the RSS image on the sites of your choice.

A RSS Reader keeps track of all of the feeds you subscribe to and displays them for easy viewing on a single webpage.   I use Google Reader to keep track of updated content to my favorite websites.   This is handy for staying update to news of your choice.  Want to know when concerts are going to be availible in your area?   Then subscribe to the RSS Feeds of venues, ticket agencies, and the entertainers you want to see.   Everytime these sites update with new information it will show up on your RSS Reader page.

Information Overload

                                  Get it? Got it? Good!

With so much information being thrown at us on the internet, it is easy to become overwhelmed, or at least disctracted from the task at hand.  It is the information age, and we need the skills to deal with the massive amounts of information we face on a daily basis.   Everything we do takes up our time.  This time is valuable.  You will want to make the most of the time you have and put it maximum use.

Being organized will save you from searching around looking for paperwork, or trying to find a username or password you have forgotten.   File folders, and lists can help you with this.

Because it is so easy to become distracted online you might find it helpful to write down what you are going to do before you even turn your computer on.  Put a post it note on your screen.  Then do what you have planned.   I know how what can happen,  you need to check a email from a client, and then finish off a graphic design you are working on.   Next thing you know you have wasted a hour reading emails,  and then somehow ended up a youtube watching videos.   Then the day is shot, and you have accomplished nothing.

You must consciously focus, and make a effort to ignore the many distractions that you will be faced with.  If you have outlined what your going to do in point form on your post it note, it will help keep you on track.  For example you need to get the information on what your client wants, and then complete the project, and email it to them.  Your sticky note might look like this:

-Check for clients email

-Goto stock photo site and choose appropriate graphics

-Put together graphic images in photoshop

-Email finished project to client

Thats simple.  When you have many complicated tasks to complete a outline of what you must to is vital, as you can forget a step, or spend to much time on one task.

As a internet marketer I have endless work to do.   I need to operate efficiently.  With experience I have discover tools to make my work easier, and more effective.  A typical morning for myself is action packed.  I have eliminated any surfing on the internet.  I don’t even read my emails, unless I am expecting a important work related one.  Yup, it is all work and no play, and I still do not have enough time to get done what I need to.  Then I still need to balance sitting in front of the computer working all day with having a life; Spending time with my wife, family, and the pets.   Being in front of a computer all of time is not a physical activity either, so if I expect to maintain my health I need to take time out and go to the gym, a walk, or ride my bike.  Here is my sticky note for the first couple hours of my day (give or take).

45 min. - Write Article with variations

15 min. - Submit articles to article directories

15 min. - Blog, and create pdf of post

20 min. - Forum marketing

15 min. - Comment on blogs

The idea is to focus your efforts and avoid distractions.  Get it? Got it? Good!

Why Blog?

A friend of me asked why people blog.  My response was that blogging is a creative outlet for people who enjoy writing.  Now I am sure that is true for many of us bloggers but that is not the only, or even the main reason why most people blog.

When I first discovered blogging I thought of it as a online journal.  Once I began blogging I did make posts about my life, but found that blogs are  to public for me to share my world, and feelings like I would in a journal.  I also found journal type entries on other peoples blogs to be boring.  It might of been a eventful, exciting day for them, but really everyone in the world is experiencing a similar existence.

So why blog?  Well blogging is big business.  Some people are able to earn six figures as professional bloggers.  I can’t tell your how long it has taken these people to reach these levels of success, or even what you have to do to rake in that kind of cash, but here is a list of why they blog, and where these successful bloggers income comes from.

Why Blog?

1) To please the search engines with fresh content, and be rewarded with traffic.

2) To earn a living doing what you enjoy.

3) To showcase websites, and products.
