Why Your Not Getting Traffic For Your Website
If your not getting traffic to your website, somebody else is. So why are they getting traffic while your not?
Reason #1 - You have not maximized your site for the keywords you want to target.
Solution: Know what keywords you want to rate highly for in the search engines. Then create a webpage for each of your keywords. Put the keywords in your meta tags.
Reason #2- You have not been adding fresh content to your web site.
Solution: Add a blog to your site and write posts related to your specific niche.
Reason #3 Your competitors have more backlinks than you do.
Solution: Write articles, and submit them to the top article directories. Make sure you include a link to your site in the “About The Author” section. Another way of easily creating backlinks is by particpating in forums. You can place a link to your website in your “Signature”
Creating backlinks is gradual process. Work on it each day. If you end up with to many backlinks to quickly from dubious sources like “link farms” then your efforts will be working against you.
The older your site is the better it will rate on google. Keep working on your on and off page seo, and with time you will eventually see more results.
